At American Pediatric Sedation Center, safety comes first in every step of the process. Our board certified pediatric dentist and physician anesthesiologist take an incremental or “step-wise” approach to sedation. This means that we start with a minimal dose, then gradually increase it while closely monitoring the patient until we’ve reached the effective dose of sedation for that patient.
Affordable and Flexible Financial Options
Our team believes in the importance of making sure that every family can afford the dental care that they need. We’ll work closely with you to ensure you have a full understanding of the costs involved, insurance coverage, and all of the flexible and affordable financial options available to you. There are two separate components to the fees with sedation treatment:
- Dental fees: This portion covers the dental treatment that will be performed while your child is under anesthesia and is often covered by your dental insurance plan.
- Medical fees: A minimal sedation fee covers the medical (anesthesia) part of the procedure, which is used to keep your child feeling calm, comfortable, and safe during their visit.
We accept most forms of dental insurance, including PPO, HMO, HSA/FSA, and Medicaid/state insurance plans, and work with carriers including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, Metlife, United Healthcare, and many others.
